Scripture Contest
Wesley is hosting a scripture contest for the Lent season! The goal is to take a classic Easter scripture and re-write it into a 150 character message so that we can text them on Easter. The leadership team will be judging the submitted scriptures and the winning one will win a $20.00 gift certificate to the U of A book store! All submissions must be emailed to Nick (ndelong@email.arizona.edu) by March 31st.
Here are the four possible scriptures that you can choose from to re-write.
You can either re-word the scriptures in short hand, re-write them in your own words, or both! Either way, remember it has to be 150 words or ...

If you are looking for places to work and serve this summer, here are some connectional Methodist options:Cedar Crest Camp in the Tennessee Annual Conference is looking for counselors in paid positions. Contact Christine Penner or visit their Web site.The Interfaith Worker Justice Summer Internship is a ten-week program for undergraduate students who want to be active in the worker justice movement. Check out their Web site and look under the Programs tab. For a volunteer opportunity, the Sierra Service Project is sponsoring the Honduras Service Project to work in home construction and local ministries serving the poor.

Scholarships & Loan Packets Out Now
Every year, there are many scholarships and loan options available through the United Methodist Church. Many of the scholarships average at least $1000 and are all available to many Wesley students. Check out the attached packet which lists all of the options, due dates, and details. You could very well be the next winner of a scholarship!
